Born in L.A. to big band trumpeter, raised in Texas by independent oil producer, graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Decorated Viet Nam veteran with 63 carrier-based combat missions as a Naval Flight Officer.

Writer/producer/creative director at ad agencies in N.Y.C., L.A., Dallas and Austin. Creative consultant with graphic design firms in New Mexico. Writer of screenplays, sitcom pilots, stage plays, novels, short stories, lyrics, limericks and haiku. (I keep trying to find shorter formats.) Published poet.

Yoga instructor since 1981. Husband of brilliant ayurvedic practitioner. Self-taught artist and lover of all flora and fauna—especially bees and tarantulas.
